Activity Reports

Introduction:

Distance education has become an indispensable part of today's education system. At Igdir University, we provide compulsory courses via distance education to provide our students with a flexible and effective learning process that aligns with the age requirements. In this report, we will provide information about the contents of our standard compulsory courses and our activities.

1. Curriculum and Events

  • Diversity of Courses: Our compulsory standard courses include "Foreign Language (English)," "Ataturk's Principles and Revolution History," and "Turkish Language and Literature." These courses aim to contribute to developing our students' academic and social skills.
  • Events and Seminars: We organize online seminars and events to enrich our education process. For example, we aimed to develop our students' communication skills in distance education with a seminar on "Effective Communication in Virtual Environment."

2. Use of Technology:

  • Educational Platforms: We provide easy access to course materials through various online platforms we use in distance education. Our students enrich their learning experiences with video lessons, interactive content, and live lessons.
  • Interactive Learning: We use interactive methods such as quizzes and group work to increase student participation in the lesson, making the learning process more exciting and interactive.

3. Feedback and Development:

  • Student Surveys: We regularly conduct surveys to improve our educational process and continuously receive student feedback. Based on this feedback, we can improve our course content and teaching methods.
  • Success Stories: Stories of students who have succeeded with our distance education system continue to be a source of motivation. By sharing these stories, we inspire our students.

4. Social and Cultural Activities: Social activities are organized to enable students to come together and socialize and are held face-to-face and online.

5. Career Development Activities: Seminars and panels are organized to guide students on internships and job searches.

Conclusion:

As Igdir University's Compulsory Courses Coordination Office, we continue to support our students' learning processes with the courses we offer and the activities we carry out through distance education. We aim to maximize the potential of each student and prepare them for life in the best way possible.
